THE RUNNING HUB PHILOSOPHY

The owner of the Running Hub, Rachael has studied at The London Running & Movement School under one of the world's leading coaches in running, speed development and rehabilitation, Mike Antoniades where she has qualified as a Certified Run Technique Specialist.



The philosophy of the Running School and the Running Hub  can be broken down into 3 steps:


MOVE BETTER

Whether an individual is a beginner or someone who is returning from injury, it is likely that they are not moving as well as they need to be. One of the first things we do is a detailed Biomechanical Analysis and Functional Movement Analysis. Through this we identify their weaknesses and movement issues. 

We believe that if someone is not moving efficiently that they will not be able to run efficiently.

RUN BETTER

Regardless of the individual's level, we begin by teaching them efficient running technique and changing their movement patterns. We do this through our unique coaching methodology and training methods.

RUN FASTER

Once we have improved an individual's technique and movement efficiency then we can work on improving their speed. This is always based on the individuals objectives and is dependent on the time and commitment they have to their strength and training.
